WHAT IS SASTM?
SASTM SOUND DEMO
SASTM - Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is designed to educate and stimulate an awareness of the management of musculoskeletal disorders by the utilization of soft tissue mobilization with instruments to assist in the location of soft tissue adhesions.
David Graston, a pioneer in the Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) industry, has created a method and instruments for treating soft tissue injuries. He developed tools and a technique to assist in his own recovery from carpal tunnel and skiing injury to his right knee. After years of research, development and feedback on the technique and tools, David developed the SASTM method and instruments. David continues to work with medical doctors, chiropractors, therapists, professional athletes and trainers from around the world who have experienced significant improvements in range of motion, flexibility, recovery time and performance that result from the use of the SASTM method and instruments.

HOW THEY ARE MADE
All instruments are designed and developed by David by hand through extensive research. David personally performs quality control on all of the SASTM products. SASTM instruments are hand made right here in the United States. They are created from the highest quality ceramic polymer on the market where they are buffed and shined to perfection and ready for use. When you get the SASTM instruments in your hands, you will understand why SASTM stands apart from the rest.
SASTM is my #1 choice for resolving chronic soft tissue adhesions that occur in upper extremity injuries such as lateral epicondylitis or RSI. My clients feel the improvement of symptoms within one to two visits and ask for more SASTM. Using SASTM, I have helped to prevent surgical intervention and have restored my clients back to full functional ability more quickly than when using only traditional therapy means. I highly recommend the SASTM method to my colleagues in the outpatient orthopedic and industrial settings!
